Summer is almost here, and now is the time to make sure that you don’t need air conditioner repair. You don’t want to wait until it is mid-summer to realize that your air conditioner isn’t working efficiently or not working at all. Now is the time to take a look at your air conditioner to determine if it needs repair. Three signs that you need air conditioner repair are:
- Low Airflow – Low airflow is an indication that you need air conditioner repair. Your air conditioner is not working efficiently or there is a blockage. The low airflow can be as simple as a clogged air filter or something more serious.
- Warm Air – When your air conditioner blows warm air it is usually a good sign that something is not working correctly. The first thing to check is the thermostat. Make sure that it is set to a temperature lower than the temperature of the room. If the air is still blowing warm, then there is a more serious issue happening and you will want to call a repairman.
- Leaking Water – Your air conditioner should never have pooling water. If you find excess water pooling, then you will want to have it repaired as soon as possible. Allowing your air conditioner to leak can cause serious damage to your home.
