Traditional air purifiers force air through a filter with several stages of filtration that clean it. The iWave air purifier is quite different. It positively and negatively charges particles that then disperse throughout your home as ions.
Those ions bind with particles and make them drop out of the air. You’ll get rid of them permanently whenever you vacuum your rooms. Those ions also neutralize gases, chemicals, bacteria, viruses, and so forth by binding with them.
There are two important points to understand about the iWave ionizer. Most ionizers create only negative ions, but the iWave produces both types. With both types of charge, the ions can attract more types of particles to remove them. The other point is that the iWave system doesn’t generate ozone as a byproduct. It conforms to UL 867 ozone requirements. Many other ionizers do give off ozone, which can actually undermine your air quality.
